HIPSTERS

It's Misty here, giving you guys my opinion on HIPSTERS!!! BTW, this is my opinion. I am not trying to stereotype.

There are basically two kinds of hipsters. The normal hipsters (some like to call them mundanes, mortals, muggles, and tons of other m's) and then there are extreme hipsters, like the hipsters of the hipsters, which mortals (non fangirls) call hipsters.

Let's start with normal mundane hipsters. Those are just the kind of hipsters that are into normal things, so basically just mortals. Those guys are pretty normal. They think us fangirls are crazy, they know nothing about the fandom, and often, they like the movie adaptions of books because they are too lazy to read.

But then there are extreme hipsters. They are often into music, and act like they have been through every hardship the world could offer. NOT. I have this hipster in my class, and she's this goody two shoes, and she thinks she's really good at singing when she is really not. She pretends like she's been through everything, and she lies to get what she wants.

Because of Hipsters, we get things like this.

I think Taylor Swift is an extreme hipster. Again, I am stating my opinion. She's always complaining about not having a good life. Lorde, I feel is an amazing singer who is really genuine. Not a hipster. She just expresses her feelings in a different way.

This picture represents the difference between fangirls and hipsters. Note the clothing, hair color, skin tone, drinks, hands, and posters on the back wall. I often act like a hipster to fit in, and avoid all mean people,  but my house kind of looks like that above. I am a total fangirl. I've got book posters lining the walls, and I have a whole wall of bookshelves.

Personally, I am not fond of hipsters. My opinion on them is not TERRIBLE, but to me, they are mundane fools.

This was Misty, sharing my honest opinion. BYE!!

Jace Herondale's Fear of Ducks *spoilers*

Hello there, it's Misty here, and I have had a very heated debate with my friend, Amber, about Jace Herondale's fear of ducks. Assuming he actually does have a FEAR of ducks, I have very strong opinions about his fear of ducks.

A little bit about my friend Amber before we start.

Amber is really pretty, and tries quite hard at academics, and is very sporty. She is also a FANTASTIC singer. Amber hasn't read any of Cassandra Clare's books, but I have been giving her brief run-throughs, and I have done very detailed descriptions of Jace Herondale, therefore, she has been discussing the books with me ever since.

Okay, so this is really just a small little thing I did for fun, and I just wanted to share my opinion.

Cassandra Clare never mentioned in her series of novels 'The Mortal Instruments' whether ducks just bothered Jace, or whether they actually scared him. The fandom eventually made Jace be scared of ducks. Now, as I have never run into Will Herondale from the Infernal Devices being SCARED of ducks, I don't know where the reference of Jace Herondale being scared of ducks came from. Now, if Jace were afraid of the Oregon Ducks football team, that would make sense, because the Ducks are pretty good at football. I mean, going to the national championship! I mean, seriously!

I haven't finished the Infernal Devices yet, so I am going on references to what I know. I will post an updating post on this if I happen to have different ideas.

So, Amber and I discussed the whole Jace not liking, or Jace being scared of ducks question, and we came down to this.

We are assuming Jace has a strong disliking of ducks, not a fear of them. He tries to avoid them in fan arts not because he is scared of them, but rather because he feels strongly uncomfortable around them.

But many people have a fear of ducks, therefore, we decided to ask ourselves a simple question. Does Jace's fear of ducks make him any less hotter, or a worse Shadowhunter.

MY opinion on Jace's hotness. Jace is beyond gorgeous, even at my standards. Personally, I am not a sucker for light eyes or fair hair, and most of the time, I tend to watch personalities rather than looks, which in Jace's case was good, because his looks might have made me hate him. But that doesn't keep me from loving his looks. Despite the blonde hair and golden eyes, he has a very angular face, which I LOVE!! Eventually, I got used to the whole blonde thing, and I ended up falling into the golden eyes. So yes, he is WAY hotter than the average person.

So, does his fear of ducks make him LOOK any less attractive? No. That is not possible, unless he got plastic surgery, which he DOESN'T NEED and he knows it!

Jace's personality is beyond amazing. He's loyal, and really soft and sweet on the inside, but he has this hard wall, or shell of this rude, sarcastic, over confident personality. In the books, Clary is constantly talking about how he is guarded by this personality, and throughout the books as he loves her more and more, she tells about how she is peeling away his fake personality like she would peel off a glamour. I think this is super sweet. Jace's outer personality is just any kind of 17 year old bad boy. Then, we get to his inner 'core' personality, in which he is really careful, and actually just this somewhat fragile kid who has so many insecurities and hardships that he kind of crammed in. I really like Jace's inner personality, because his outer personality is just this stuck up boy, but his inner personality is really just this imperfect, but somewhat perfect personality that just warms our hearts.

With the looks and the personality combined, Jace is this really cool, kind, sweet, gentle person. The whole duck situation, I feel makes him a little bit better actually, and his looks and personality kind of hide the duck situation.

That was basically a short version of our conversation, so I'll see you next post guys, BYEEE!

CRACKPOT THEORIES: Percy Jackson is Finnick Odair!!

Hey guys, it's Misty here, and this is my crackpot theory. My theory is... Percy Jackson's reincarnation is Finnick Odair!!

Now, a lot of you guys will probably be saying, but Percy and Finnick don't look alike, and they don't have similar names, and yada yada yada, however in the Percy Jackson books, it clearly states that they drink from the memory washing river and their appearances are changed, so that no one can remember who they were. I find that all those headcannons about reincarnations are just a bunch of bogus, because of the reasons stated below, however, you can remember a few things, and the Fates may be kind enough to give you an easier life, by giving you some things you've encountered before, and we all know that Percy Jackson has a pretty good connection with the Fates somehow.

Okay, so, let's go over Percy Jackson, and then Finnick Odair, and the little coincidences that lead me to believe that Finnick is Percy and Percy is Finnick.

Percy Jackson
Percy Jackson is the son of Poseidon, and has a really good connection with water. He can breathe in water, control water, etc. It's really quite awesome. He also has this girlfriend named Annabeth Chase, who is really, really smart and awesome. Percy Jackson has black hair, and green eyes, and is diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, which is because his brain is hardwired for ancient greek and battle strategy. It's pretty awesome. Percy also has a pegasus that he rescued from Kronos's evil services, named Blackjack. Percy has a lot of signature lines, but one probably best known is 'Look, I never wanted to be a demigod'

Finnick Odair
Finnick is definitely awesome. He's from district four, the fishing district, so he's a pretty experienced water guy. His preferred weapon is the trident, and he dies in Mockingjay. He has a mentally challenged girlfriend named Annie, and his signature line from the book is 'Want a sugar cube?"

Crackpot Theory Explanation (Best I can do)

In one of the Percy Jackson Books (either the Titan's Curse or Battle of the Labyrinth, I think) Blackjack keeps asking for sugar cubes, because he likes them, and thinks they are yummy. Percy reluctantly gives him like one or two.
Finnick did kind of the same thing. He knew that horses liked sugar cubes, and gave the horses sugar cubes. Which leads me to thinking: The horse was Blackjack's rein (rein stands for reincarnation, okay?) and Finnick was Percy's rein. The sugar cube connection and the water and horse connection is what I'm shooting at.

Some of you might hate my theory, but hey, some of you might have had the same theory and is glad that someone else has the same idea!

So it's Misty, your nerdy fangirl, signing out

FANDOM SCHOOL?!

I really feel that it would be awesome if we could have a fandom school, so I decided to write a little about my dream fandom school.

It would be called FANDOMINIQUE, and we would take classes for fanfics, and edits, and head cannons, and of course, we would do campaigns on whether a ship is cannon or not, and we could take Fandom history, and we could do Fandom Language!!

There would be fangirls and fanboys, of all ages, sizes, races, etc, so it would be easy for us fangirls to find fanboy boyfriends!! YES!

All electronics are not only allowed, they are required, and there's even a social network\blog site called Fansters!! There would be dances and you didn't need a date, and the theme would be 'Your Fandom' you and your friends or boyfriend could dress up as your favorite fictional characters, or your OTP!

Uniforms are made based on your fandom (mine would be Camp Half Blood T-shirts), and you sit with your main fandom! The small fandoms can sit with each other, and share their fandom's books, to enlarge the fandom!

We should do like a role play or something!

Anyway, I'll give you guys more updates on my fandom dream school later.
